TOEFL Coaching
TOEFL stands for the International English Language Testing System. It is a standardized test used to assess the prociency of non-native English speakers in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. TOEFL is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP Education, and Cambridge Assessment English.
The test is accepted as evidence of English language prociency for study, work, and migration in many countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States. The test has two versions: Academic and General Training. The Academic version is typically used for academic purposes, such as admission to universities, while the General Training version is used for non-academic purposes, such as immigration or employment. The test scores are valid for two years
The TOEFL (International English Language Testing System) exam assesses a candidate’s prociency in the English language. The exam has four sections, which are:
- Listening: This section comprises four recordings of native English speakers, which are played only once. Candidates are required to answer 40 questions in 30 minutes.
- Reading: This section comprises three reading passages with a total of 40 questions. Candidates have 60 minutes to complete this section.
- Writing: This section is divided into two tasks. Task 1 requires candidates to interpret a graph or chart in 150 words, while task 2 requires candidates to write an essay on a given topic in 250 words. Candidates have 60 minutes to complete both tasks.
- Speaking: This section is a face-to-face interview with an examiner. The interview is divided into three parts. In the rst part, the examiner asks the candidate questions about themselves. In the second part, the candidate is given a card with a topic and is asked to speak about it for 2 minutes. In the third part, the examiner asks the candidate follow-up questions related to the topic of the second part. The speaking test lasts for 11-14 minutes.

The total test time for the TOEFL exam is 2 hours and 45 minutes. The Listening, Reading and Writing sections are taken on the same day, while the Speaking section can be taken up to seven days before or after the other sections.
